**THE 2025/2026 SCHOOL YEAR REGISTRATION IS OPEN!** Discovery Kids Families, The Discovery Kids Before & After Care program is committed to providing a variety of quality learning experiences for currently enrolled QCUSD families. We thank you for choosing QCUSD Discovery Kids and look forward to working with you to provide meaningful learning opportunities for your school age children. Warm regards, Ellie Hardt/Director of Community Education The Discovery Kids program is a before and after school program that offers structured activities and hands-on learning for school-aged children. The Before and After Care program is available at each Queen Creek Unified School District Elementary School. Activities include homework time (not tutoring), science, arts & crafts, technology lab, active games and more! Sibling and employee discounts are available. Our programs start at 6:30 a.m. to school start and school end to 6:00 p.m. Discovery Kids is an award-winning program and follows the Arizona Quality Standards for Out-of-School Time Programs. The Consistent schedule (child is scheduled to attend every day) is based on a daily discounted rate. You are billed for the number of days Discovery Kids is in session in each billing period. The Pick-Your-Days schedule (child is not scheduled to attend every day) is based on a daily rate. You are only billed for the number of days you schedule in each billing period. NO REFUND POLICY - In order to schedule and hold your spot, our program is a prepaid program only. You are invoiced for days scheduled not days your child attends. If payment is not received by the due date, a late fee of $25 will be assessed, and your child will not be able to attend DK until the past due balance is paid. Once your contract has been approved and you should decide to withdraw, you will receive a credit to your account.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: WE ARE AT CAPACITY ON JUNE 5TH AND JULY 8TH AT GPA. IF THOSE DATES ARE SELECTED WHEN REGISTERING, THEY WILL BE REMOVED BEFORE BEING ACCEPTED. Please verify your scheduled dates in the confirmation email you'll receive when your contract is approved. Please Note: Camp participants need to be enrolled in a QCUSD school. Summer Camp 2025 will be held May 27th through July 11th (no camp on July 4th) at the following locations: Gateway Polytechnic Academy: 5149 S Signal Butte, Mesa, AZ Frances Brandon-Pickett Elementary: 22076 E Village Loop Rd, Queen Creek, AZ Camp is available to incoming Kindergarteners through 6th graders enrolled in a QCUSD school. Two snacks are provided each day; however, your child will need to come with a cold lunch and water bottle. Hours are 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.
